Several weeks ago at SoT we had a talk about the kinds of legislation the Republicans are proposing, but namely how in a rather unusual way they are trying to legislate through fear based constitutional amendments such as the Anti Gay Marriage Amendment, and the "Right to Work" amendment (that dismantles Unions).
One of the other Amendments that was mentioned was the proposed Voter ID amendment that would basically keep thousands of our citizens from voting but wouldn't in anyway prevent the almost non-existent voter fraud the amendment is supposedly against. Thanks for posting this. I was not very informed about the Voter ID amendment. I'll do some reading up on that now.
